I like Mr and Mrs Handsome and their musical stuff. In 1998 they released a tributre song of sorts saluting the world’s tallest man, Robert Wadlow, who died at age 22, at over 8 feet and still growing.
A big hit tho it wasn’t. I like it!

For many musicians, home is where you hang your hat. But it would be nice if this American was as popular in his home as he is in Europe. Mr. Elliott Murphy

Calvin’s in Trouble

Many North American musicians find sucess first, sometimes solely, in Europe. Countless bluesman from the American southland first found fame in a European market just dying for what they were giving in the 50s and early 60s. A number of franco north americans have found sucess first over there.
The list includes Louisianna’s Zachary Richard, Manitoba’s Daniel Lavoie and many Quebecois artists.

Add Texan Calvin Russell to the growing list of NA expats who found acceptance in countries like Austria, Switzerland, Germany and France, while remaining virtually unheard of in his home country.
I really like this guy and his music.
