He’s a Rebel was a Phil Spector song recorded by The Crystals (which Crystals is open to debate) but the song itself (where the female is attracted to the male “bad boy” image) was a bit of a departure from the songs of the era. When I hear it I think of the Seinfeld episode where one of Elaine’s employees falls for George because she thinks he’s a “bad boy”.
