I always dreamed of playing “Father and Son” by Cat Stevens with my son some day. I hoped he would pick up the guitar when he was younger and run with it. Things don’t always work that way.

Writers of the lost art feel the same way. There are many songs written about our hopes, fears and missed opportunities with our children.
