Memories Uncovered

trillium

Back on the West Island I used to walk through the woods behind the house – it was full of trilliums. Now, the woods and flowers are gone – replaced by houses and sewer lines…..The trillium is Ontario’s provincial flower. Interestingly, Fludd, a band from Ontario, recorded on the Daffodil label.

Here’s the Robichaud boys doing a nice, country tinged cover of an old Fludd tune. Reminds me of my early teens in Quebec……not sure if this was on CKGMs rotation or if I heard it on one of our many trips into the wilds of Ontario.
