Kelly Bado | Beginning

Born and raised in West Africa’s Côte d’Ivoire, she now lives in my home town in the middle of North America.

Here she sings her interpretation of the song “Mon Amour” accompanied only by an acoustic guitar in a fur trade era Fort…..perhaps that explains her fresh vocal tone.

and here she gives us a song of praise recorded at Springs Church over on Lagimodière Boulevard – a road named after Jean-Baptiste Lagimodière (Louis Riel’s fur trading grandfather).
