The Answer

Ok. So most of us learn (usually by ear) and have played Kansas’ Dust in the Wind. It’s based on C and A:m and introduces the player to a basic picking pattern that runs throughout the song. Nice.
But I guarantee that you’ve never before seen it played the way this young Swede plays it. She starts off the way we all do but then the song gets a bit more complex. The bass and vocal lines, the orchestration are all there from part to part. Piece arranged by Sungha Jung:
