Finest Form of Flattery

Were you aware that Mr. Bean started off his career as a hard nosed TV interviewer? He sure was. Always getting real answers to real questions of social import.
Some say he copied his technique from Eric Idle in this “Two Sheds” interview with Michael Palin.
Personally, I see absolutely no correlation. Although both interviews are conducted in a “take no prisoners” manner and involve composers’/musicians’ names there are no other similarities. And clearly one interviewer is on the interviewee’s left, the other on his right. I rest my case: you may now bang your gavel and wiggle your wee.
